The Week Ahead

A quick note before the schedule for the coming week... Members of the team went to Lake Wilderness State Park for the Tahoma Coed Relays. Five person relay teams ran 3k legs, including a stretch through Lake Wilderness itself. Here's a picture from last year:

There were 38 schools, including a dozen schools from Washington's largest classification. Sunset relays teams finished 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 7th overall. That's right: 5 teams in the top 7 or 5 teams before the top team from all but two schools. You can see relay splits and relay team members on the Split Sheet page.

Want to be included next year? This meet is a reward for summertime involvement. Veterans ran at 20 or more summer conditioning meetings while the rookie number was 12. We had 8 teams this year. We would love to have more teams next year. Expectations for 2019 will be communicated in late May after the track season.
